This weekend we built a carrot box for the boys to plant carrots in. They love to pull the carrots up when they are done, wash them off, and eat them like Bugs Bunny. One of the things we make time to do is work and play outside as a family. We have discovered that the more time our boys spend outside, the more calm and well-behaved they are. Honestly, even I feel more peaceful after spending time in nature. As we enter the spring season, I hope to be able to do more outside - camping, picnics, and just playing in the backyard. We also plan to try some more container gardening. Spending time outside enjoying God's creation is one of the best ways we can bring peace to our family.
